7th to 12th June 2012.

Tour Status:  Fully Booked.

This six day tour will travel from Northern Ireland to the West and Northwest Highlands of Scotland.

We will depart from Northern Ireland on the breakfast time ferry for Scotland on Thursday 7th June 2012, travelling north of Glasgow to our first nights hotel on Rannoch Moor along some of the great biking roads in this part of Scotland, including the "Duke's Pass" in the Trossachs. This hotel would be an ideal place for anyone from Britain to join us for the tour, (the hotel is located approximately 60 miles north of Glasgow).

On Friday we will continue to travel north to our next hotel on the shores of Loch Carron, set deep among the mountains of Wester Ross, there will be stops at various places of interest along the way including a visit to Cairngorm mountain. There will be an opportunity here to ascend the mountain on the tourist railway. We aim to arrive at our hotel in time for tea. We will be stay here for the next three nights which will give us time to explore the surrounding area including a visit to far north coast, an opportunity to ride the Pass of the Cattle to remote Applecross, a visit to Eilean Donan Castle, (you have probably seen it’s picture on shortbread tins), visit Loch Ness and Castle Urquhart and sample a little bit of yesteryear with the heritage ferry to the Isle of Skye. etc.

On Monday we head south through the majestic West Highlands, travelling into Argyll where we will stay on the shores of Loch Fyne for our last night in Scotland.

Tuesday 12th June and it’s the ride home. We will travel through Argyll to Loch Lomond then travel south to cross the River Clyde over the Erskine Bridge. Those of you from Britain will probably head for the M8 and home while those of us travelling to Ireland will make our way to Cairnryan and the ferry for Belfast, arriving there at approximately 1800hrs.

The cost of this tour includes return ferry crossing from Belfast.

Solo rider sharing in twin or double room - £425 (£365 without ferry).
Solo rider in single occupancy room - £495 (435 without ferry).
Rider and pillion sharing twin or double room - £790 per couple (£700 without ferry).

Limited availability of single rooms on this one.

This tour will require some touring experience due to the distances and duration.
We expect to cover about 1200 miles over the six days.
